CAMRYN NUNLEY
Biography
Camryn Nunley is a local actor and voice actor from Artlington, TX. Starting his journey with the Theatre for Youth, he later earned his BFA in acting and directing from Sam Houston State University.
He is currently a Senior Teaching Artist with The Alley Theatre’s educational program. He also completed two seasons with the Alley Theatre educational tours, (Oskar’s Big Comeback, Midnight Shakespeare Club) and starred in two Main Street Theatre for Youth productions (Watsons go to Birmingham, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang). This fall he’ll begin teaching Lower School Drama at St. Francis Episcopal School.
His professional credits include productions at Stages (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Black Superhero Magic Mama, Panto Snow White, and Othello: The Remix), Alley Theatre (Cowboy Bob, The Christians) and Rec Room Arts (Spring Awakening). His voice acting credits include shows like Danmachi, Sword of The Demon Hunter and Haikyuu.
His main philosophy in youth theatre is the same for adult actors. “You bring something unique. That is fact. Own that.”
