JOE GRISAFFI

Joe Grisaffi is an award-winning actor, director, producer, and screenwriter based in Houston, Texas. With a career spanning film, television, and theatre, Grisaffi has established himself as a versatile storyteller known for his creative range and dedication to independent cinema.

 

As a filmmaker, Joe’s directing and producing credits include the cult favorites Conjoined, Dead of Knight, and the award-winning Lars the Emo Kid. As an actor, Joe has appeared in over 100 independent films. His ability to blend humor, intensity, and authenticity has earned him recognition on the festival circuit and among peers in the Texas film community.

 

As a casting director, Joe continues to cast extras and principals for television commercials and feature films. Joe’s commercial casting credits include American Express, McDonald’s, Ford, Conn’s, and a number of other national and local spots. Joe got started in casting working in extras casting for Tin Cup, Primary Colors and Starship Troopers. Joe is the founder of Southwest Casting, one of Houston’s premiere casting resources.
