BYRON FRANCO
Biography
Byron Franco is a filmmaker/actor with over 10 years experience in the Houston film industry. He has acted in over 30 short/feature length productions including the feature films: The Ecstasy of Gold(Adrama Productions), The Relic: Dragon(J.M. Logan), and the award winning short film Seeahtik(Syed Hassan) for which he won best actor at the South Film Arts and Academy Festival. He is currently represented by DBA UK, an international talent agency and has been shortlisted for on prestige television shows including Apple TV.
Behind the camera he helped found the Houston film production company In the House Media, through which he has written/directed multiple short films including Dog, Baked In, and The Fake Mother. He has also served in various film production roles as assistant director, gaffer, sound mixer, PA, and editor for over 10 years in the film industry.
His training includes multiple years with Sara Gaston Studio, Film Acting Academy, and Next Actor Studio. He has been teaching various classes and private self-tape coaching for students of all skill levels and believes in an active learning approach. He's excited to improve your audition and on-set skills through a mix of warmups, scene work, and immersive training.
