Acting for Young Performers February 14 - May 2, 2026 [12 weeks] Saturdays, 1-3pm Instructor: Adrienne Shearer Student Limit: 10 Cost: $540 Join Studio for Actors Houston for a 12-week acting class designed for young performers (Middle School) on a journey to becoming professional actors. You'll train in scene study, character development, and ensemble building while working through the rehearsal process of a show that you'll create! The two-hour Saturday class will be held from February 7 - April 25. The small class size (10 students) will allow for more individual coaching, better skill building and more focused attention to the work. Over the semester, the class will develop the talent of young artists, increase their confidence, and provide challenging work that will culminate in a final performance for family and friends. INSTRUCTOR: Adrienne Shearer is a teacher, director, choreographer, and performer who has devoted much of her professional life to building bridges and improving opportunities for youth and adults in the autism spectrum. Having taught at all levels, from elementary to university, she brings a collaborative approach to work as an artist and a teacher.
