Description

Improv for Actors Sundays - 6:00-8:00pm Instructor: Kory LaQuess Pullam Student Limit: 16 Cost: $45 Special Offer: Take 4 consecutive classes and receive half off the next class. Often, we think of improv as silly games and short-lived connections. However, improvisation can be used as an incredible tool to access an actor’s truest vulnerability and performance. Kory LaQuess Pullam leads an exploration in how we can effectively utilize the art of improv on stage in this weekly class. *Kory is the founder of Blackout Improv in Minneapolis, an ensemble of artists who use comedy as a tool to tackle serious issues. In 2019, Blackout Improv was recognized by MPR as Changemakers for “breaking barriers and busting guts.” In 2016, Kory was named Artist of the Year by the Star TrIbune, and in 2017 was again selected Artist of the Year by City Pages (Minneapolis). * This class is for adults 18 and above.
