Intro to TV Sitcoms Daytime Intensive May 12 - May 15, 2026 (4 Days) Tuesday - Friday - 12:00-2:00pm Instructor: Brian Kondrach Cost: $240 Comedy on television is precise, technical, and built on strong character choices. In this practical, hands on class, actors will develop sharper comedic timing, learn how to identify and heighten the humor in a script, and build memorable, playable characters. Through scene work and focused exercises, we’ll explore the core sitcom archetypes and how to adapt them into grounded, authentic performances. Students will work with both single-cam and multi-cam material to understand differences in tone, pacing, and delivery. This standalone class offers practical tools actors can immediately apply in auditions and on set. Actors of all skill levels are welcome. About the Instructor: Brian Kondrach is a Houston based improviser, commercial actor, and comedy teacher who has trained with UCB LA and worked alongside notable comedians like Will Hines, Chris Gethard, and Kevin McDonald. A longtime performer with ComedySportz and The Station Theater, he brings years of experience in improv, sketch, and actor training to help performers sharpen their comedic instincts.
