SFAH Summer Studio: MUSICAL THEATRE Teens Ages: 12-18 June 21 - July 2, 2027 Monday - Friday, 9:00am-3:00pm Instructors: Jasmine Christyne Cost: $545 Designed for students with a serious interest in musical theatre. Our two-week summer intensives offer young performers a deep dive into the fundamentals of professional training. Led by experienced theatre professionals, each day musical theatre students will engage in vocal training, both as a group and individually. The vocal work will focus on vocal production, interpretation, presentation, connection, intentionality and focus. Students will also learn choreography appropriate to their music and develop a cabaret-style showcase to be presented on the final day of the studio. This musical theatre summer studio is great for improving vocal technique, gaining vocal confidence, ensemble building and socialization, learning how to interpret a song, deepening understanding of what acting a song means, and how to get there. Ideal for students who are passionate about acting and eager to train like a pro, these camps are both challenging and inspiring--building confidence, craft, and community. Space is limited to ensure individualized attention. Early registration is recommended.
