SFAH Summer Studio: for Teens

July 14 - July 18, 2025 Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm Instructors: Jay Gracia Cost: $375 This intensive Summer Studio will engage high school students in a comprehensive program that works on acting, voice, and body. They will engage in movement classes, vocal production, music, monologue and scene work focused on connecting with the text and scene partners, and culminate in a scene showcase by the end of the program. Students will meet 9:00-5:00pm with a final showcase on Friday at 6pm. In their scene work students will focus on in-depth exploration of Given Circumstance, Intention, Motivation, Action, Stakes, Specificity, Visualization, Being in the Moment, etc. It is a rigorous program designed to help actors find more specificity and connection in their work.
