Advanced Acting with David Rainey January 26 - March 9, 2026 [8 weeks] Monday Nights - 6:30pm-10:30pm Instructor: David Rainey Cost: $400 (New Students); $375 (Returning Students) This 8-week acting intensive focuses on scene work and individual coaching largely rooted in the teaching principles of Uta Hagan. David Rainey has been a member of the Alley Theatre Resident Company for 25 years, and has been coaching Houston actors since 2005. He received his theatre training at The Juilliard School, graduating with the Drama Division's highest honor, the Michel and Suria Saint-Denis Prize. Working with small groups, his intensives provide detailed coaching to help actors increase specificity, identify growth areas and explore how to more effectively achieve truthful exchanges on the stage.
