Studio for Actors Houston June Update

It's been a busy few months at the Studio as we get ready for the summer and prep students through audition season.
Our Health Fair for Artists event kicked off in May and was a great chance for artists to connect with health providers and participate in fun, active health events.
We're continuing our mission to provide serious training and opportunities to refine your craft with a variety of classes.
Our core classes like Acting I, Film Acting I, and Improv for Actors continue to help beginner students build a foundation and intermediate students ways to refine and elevate their skills.
For classical theatre students we have Shakespeare with training with Jonathan Gonzalez, an educator and actor with over 35 years of experience and countless credits as a teacher and actor in Shakespearean plays/companies.
The Spring Advanced class with David Rainey had some fantastic work and growth from students and Alliance Audition Prep was a great way for students to really tune their monologue pieces.
We're offering specialized training in Musical Theatre with Amanda Martinez, this class is a great way for experienced musical theatre performers to take their skills to the next level. Class starts June 30:
We're also providing Screenwriting classes with Michelle Mower designed to teach how to build practical, industry ready screenplays. Class starts on July 1:
Finally, we're excited to start the Summer Studios with the Young Performer's camp! These 2 week day camps provide young performers serious training in a supportive environment. The Young Performer's camp started today with instructor Jasmine Christine and the students are having a blast while building real performance skills.
